PUMPKIN PATCH

It's more than just a pumpkin patch- there are games, inflatables, bikes, even a petting zoo.

Driving the train.

I put forth valiant effort, but soon gave up hope for a smiling shot of both boys by the pumpkins.

Jack spent the last maybe 45 minutes sitting at this table waiting for the Jack-O-Launcher to launch a pumpkin. I have to admit it was pretty impressive-complete with a bang, smoke and then a SOARING pumpkin. But they only launch one every 10 or 15 minutes. Jack had a meltdown when we went to pay for our pumpkins and missed a launch so he insisted on sitting right there and waiting. I was getting annoyed with the waiting, but it was all worth it as he skipped through the parking lot raving and retelling how it worked.

"I don't want you to take my picture."

We made a little craft when we got home (Jack got to glue).
Then he took a photo of me holding it.

My friends often include past year's photos on their blog and I always enjoy them. The one below is from last year and has always been one of my favorite photos.
