Summer

Monday our air conditioner broke down. It was super humid, a record high 93 degrees here that day. But we made the best of it- water fights, swimming, popsicles and camping out in the basement.
Tuesday we were going to go to the MOA amusement park, but when I asked Jack if he wanted to go he replied "Is Emma going?"
"Well, no, it would just be our family this time."
"I"ll just wait and go with Emma."
So we stayed home and bought a slip-n-slide instead.

I really wanted to post to tell you this story: We all know Jack is totally into the movie Sandlot. I was telling him Monday "Daddy is like The Great Hambino, you are Benny or Smalls..." before I could even get out the question which character is Ty, Jack chimed in with "You're the Beast mom!"
