Northland Adventure

The boys & I drove way up North to deliver cookie dough to Northwestern High School- home of our famous Dr. Kyle. I've never been that far north in WI and now I know why- there's not much up there. The delivery was 3 hours late and it was a challenge killing that much time in such a remote area. It took me 25 min to complete the CD delivery and then FINALLY we were off to explore Duluth, MN- a little VACATION.

the boys outside Grandma's restraunt where we ate a late dinner
(and Jack lost his most prized possession- his Tball hat)

in the entry way of Grandma's---I thought sure, why not, let's get some cheesy vacation photos
Right after this photo, Ty jumped/fell down.

Jack took this photo while I was cleaning up Ty. I thought he probably needed stitches, but by the time we got back to our car & hotel he seemed okay. The hotel had a first aid kit so I bandaged him up. And after a complimentary smore by the lake- Ty was ready to hit the swimming pool. At 9:44pm Jack said "Mom, if you were trying to wear us out, it didn't work." But everyone was in bed by 10pm.

Shouldn't everyone get a photo with a moose in Duluth?

Ice cream for lunch! only on vacation.

Duluth Playfront- super fun park made from recycled tires- really bouncy!

How tall are you compared to a moose?
This was at the Aquarium

What a cute treehouse! I wish I could play in there & I might have had there not been so many other kids there.

still at the aquarium

Free entertainment on the canal- chasing the seagulls
actually put all of Ty's growling to good use

It looks awesome, Leslie! Bummer about having to wait out in 'no man's land!' hehe. We have a nearly identical moose chair photo :) But have never gotten a head smacked open in Grandma's. Boo. Hope the little man's head is better soon! I am sure Coldstone helped!
