Tuesday we squeezed in one last day of vacation- Como Park/Zoo in St Paul.
First we looked at the animals. We were standing on a platform right above this sleeping lion. Of course, Ty was stomping & yelling "I gonna wake that lion up!"
There is a small amusement park with a playground/splash park attraction.
There is a small amusement park with a playground/splash park attraction.I wasn't sure Ty was big enough for the playground. Chad kept reminding me that he's a monkey. I would have been in there helping him but I was wearing a dress.
Jack at the top of the tower.
30 minutes later- Ty at the top of the tower. See the red square next to him. That is the only way up. Four levels of just square openings- nothing to help you up. If you aren't tall enough you can't get up. We watched Ty hanging in that square for 5 minutes- arms clinging to the net on top, legs dangling beneath. Then somehow he grabbed the side with his big toe and pushed himself up, then the next level and the next til he was at the top. We couldn't believe he made it. Then I start paninking because how is he ever going to get down. Jack to the rescue.
