Labor Day Camping Trip

We had tons of fun again this year with the Bischoffs, Chad's second family.
Thankful for warm weather so we could SWIM!
The Jumping Pillow!
There was a kids carnival this year in celebration of the campground's 40th anniversary.  Jack is coloring on a wood wall - I think they used it to show movies in the past.
Ty ate the pink marker- everyone laughed at his "lipstick."
Ty panning for "gold."  He got a piece of fools gold, an arrowhead & a gold coin.  He traded in the gold coin for a noisemaker.  Jack got a piece of fools gold and a big plastic red jewel.  He is wearing the jewel around his neck now.
Another carnival activity- decorate a cookie.  First thing Ty did was lick the frosting off the knife which was supposed to be shared.  He tried to pick out sprinkles but his fingers were so covered in frosting that he ended up just dumping all the sprinkles on his cookie- this is a photo of the cookie/pile-of-frosting near completeion.
Face Painting!  Jack came up with the shark-face on his own.  Is anyone surprised that Ty wanted a green tractor?
Jack caught blue gill.
Ty with his catch:)
Joy brought lots of toys & let them play in the dirt!
Too bad we didn't get a photo of April, becuase the boys- especially Ty- had a great time playing with her.  Even though Ty said his favorite part was "playing with Uncle Joe." I can only remember Ty sitting on Joe's lap, staring at the fire & almost falling asleep.

There was also a parade-with candy, crafts, a live band...  The boys got 3 new toys on the rummage sale and Jack got a new bike.  Jack wants to know if he can live there.
We met Grandpa & Grandma Gorman for lunch on our way home.  Grandpa picked a fun place with an arcade.  Ty got a free ride on a train roller coaster.  Jack chose this motorcycle game.  He crashed, flipped over twice & hit a wall.  "I was really good at that game!" he said afterward.  And he was serious.
