Halloween, Hunting & Harvest in Iowa

I didn't take enough photos of boys in the tractors/combine & Chad hunting.  Ty did get his ride in the "scooping tractor."  Every day my 3 boys were dirty, exhausted & went to bed with HUGE SMILES on their faces.
A new Halloween book from Nana inspired this spooky treat.  Luke is studying the book to see how we should make the spider.

you can kind of see the finished spider- it's the popcorn ball with liccorice legs & choc chip eyes.

After the boys ride in the tractors & combine they come in and play it all over again.  Ty has the combines pulled up and is unloading the corn.

Jack held a cooking lesson-showing everyone how to make the apple pie he made in preschool

See how pretty my mom is.

Trying on his handmade pirate costume, but more concerned with his accessories- the backpack & toys.
We had friends over for the big reveal & Honeycrisp Sangria (Erin's recipe)
