Family Vacay

We took the boys to the cities since there was no school on Presidents' Day.  First we went to the Minnesota Children's Museum- totally packed, but still fun.
Like a giant arcade game.  Jack waited a super long time for a chance to drive this crane and try to pick up a beam- he got one!

Ty spent a very long time disassembling & reassembling this "gator."  The hood, fenders, steering wheel, tires were all made to go one & off easily.  Not sure what he's doing with the boots.

Use the example to assemble your own trolley car then drive it down the ramp & watch it crash & break apart.  Now that's a great way to get boys to pick up after themselves.

Great Grandparents Jack & Maxie spoil the kids with $ every holiday.  This time I let them spend it at the build-a-bear workshop.  They had a great time picking out then stuffing their animals.  You pick out a heart & sound to stuff into your animal.  Then print off a birth certificate for it.  Jack named his cheetah- Cheetah Cub.  Ty's elephant is named Fumble.  (maybe he was thinking of Dumbo?)

We rode some rides again at MOA & swam in the hotel pool.
