Let me set the scene- the boys & I were 6 1/2 hours into our road trip in the Civic & I am navigating (with a map no less!) thru our thrid road construction; the boys are fighting, screaming & crying. Somehow after a 20 min double meltdown, the boys quieted & started planning a book club. A book club!? I couldn't believe it- where did they come up with that idea?
It started with just the 3 of us- each of us picked a book and read it to the group (according to the boys plan we were supposed to have cookies but I "forgot" to make them:).
Then we invited friends to join us. Wow! That was the cutest, sweetest thing ever! What great "readers"-only 1 of the kids can actually read. We also discovered that Erin has a fabulous crocidile voice & Stephanie knows how to talk like a beaver. So fun!
