It all started becuase I didn't want to waste my $ on a mindless item for Ty while we were shopping. I thought I was making a better choice to take him to the clothing store & let him pick out something there becuase he needed summer clothes anyway. Of course he picked out this shirt becuase of the toy remote-controled dragon that came with it.
I said "That is the ugliest shirt I've ever seen! I'd rather just buy you the toy!"
What Ty heard mom say: "I'll buy you that toy."
My parenting skills are poor- even worse because Chad is gone & I am pregnant- so 3 days later I found myself going back to the store & allowing my son to empty his wallet on this. I swore at least I'd never let him WEAR the shirt in public.... He wore it to school the next day WITH bright green pants!!
